Do you want to bring a little color to your life? Do you like new things and challenges or, on the contrary, have you not had the courage, time or energy to have a hobby? Have you thought about experimenting with a creative activity, but don’t know where to start?
In this article I will point out some essential elements for those of you who want to start an art course:
1. It’s not school
Most of the time when someone contacts me with the intention of enrolling in one of the courses, they feel the need to ask: “I have never painted before. Will I handle it? I’m embarrassing myself? Am I at the same level of the group? ”
The courses are for beginners. Even if in groups they are also passionate with experience, who participate in our courses for many years, in each module the notions are explained from scratch in the first session and then, along the way, additions are made according to the needs of each participant.
Yes, you will learn various techniques, but you will not be tested, you will not be given exams and you will not be taken to the blackboard.
2. It takes time, involvement and patience
Attending a course of a few sessions does not turn you into an artist. You will learn the basics about the technique or topic of that course, but then it is up to you how much time and energy you will offer to it.
3. Relaxation and disconnection through art
One of the purposes of these courses is to get you out of your daily routine, to disconnect from daily worries and to fill you with energy. By letting colors enter your life, you will become more creative, attentive to detail, have a higher power of concentration and improve your ability to express yourself.
4. Anyone can participate
In our agenda there are courses especially dedicated to children and courses for adults. There is no maximum age limit, on the contrary, we believe that art takes place in the life of anyone who is willing to receive it.
5. Socialization and fun
Last but not least is the social component. People who cross our door have the opportunity to learn new things, to develop their creative skills, but also to have fun. They have the opportunity to meet people with common hobbies. Many times we have students who spend a limited period of time in Bucharest and take advantage of this hobby to get to know each other.
For those who prefer a more “casual” creative activity or do not have the time to attend a multi-session course, we recommend the “Wine & Paint Night Out” event.Have I already piqued your curiosity? Then I invite you to consult the events calendar.
