Have you always dreamed of painting but never knew where to start? This course is the perfect place for you, whether you are picking up a brush for the first time or simply want to strengthen your basic knowledge and explore new techniques.
Over the course of 12 sessions, in a warm and relaxed environment, you will gradually explore some of the most popular painting mediums: acrylic, watercolor & ink, and oil. With the guidance of a patient and attentive instructor, you will learn how to turn your ideas into images and develop your own visual language.
Course Schedule:
Frequency: one session per week – every Sunday
Total duration: 12 sessions
Schedule: 1:00 PM–2:30 PM
What You Will Learn:
Module 1 – Acrylic Painting
We begin with acrylics – an accessible and highly versatile medium. You will learn how to control color, work with different brush shapes, create balanced compositions, and add texture. Through practical exercises, you will create a complete canvas painting, choosing a subject that inspires you most. It is an excellent introduction to painting, with visible results from the very first sessions.
Module 2 – Watercolor & Ink
Next, we move on to a delicate and expressive medium. You will discover how transparency works and how to create atmosphere and light using delicate layers of color. We will also explore ink techniques, with an emphasis on contrast and detail. This module will help you develop patience, attention to detail, and the ability to convey a lot using simple means. You will create works featuring a variety of subjects, including landscapes, still life, and portraits.
Module 3 – Oil Painting
In the final part of the course, you will work with oils, a classic and deeply expressive technique. You will learn how to manage color, work in layers, and create smooth transitions between shades. We will also discuss materials, drying times, and proper care of your tools. At the end of this module, you will create a personal painting in which you can apply everything you have learned and explore your own artistic style.
Each Session Includes:
• Clear explanations of techniques, with practical examples
• Demonstrations by the instructor
• Hands-on practice at each participant’s own pace
• Individual feedback and constructive discussions
