Beginner Painting Course – Starting August 1, 2026, at Art & Hobby Studio
Have you always dreamed of painting but never knew where to start? This course is the perfect place for you, whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the very first time or looking to strengthen your fundamentals and explore new techniques.
Over the course of 12 sessions, in a warm and relaxed studio environment, you will gradually explore three of the most popular painting media: acrylic, watercolor & ink, and oil painting. Guided by a patient and experienced instructor, you will learn how to transform your ideas into artwork while developing your own visual language.

What You Will Learn
Module 1 – Acrylic Painting
We begin with acrylics, a versatile and beginner-friendly medium. You will learn how to control color, work with different types of brushes, create balanced compositions, and add texture to your paintings. Through practical exercises, you will complete a finished canvas based on a subject that inspires you. This module provides an excellent introduction to painting, with rewarding results from the very first sessions.
Module 2 – Watercolor & Ink
Next, we move on to a delicate and expressive medium. You will discover how transparency works, how to create light and atmosphere through subtle layers of color, and how to combine watercolor with ink techniques to emphasize contrast and fine details. This module develops patience, observation, and the ability to express complex ideas with simple means. You will create a variety of artworks, including landscapes, still life compositions, and portraits.
Module 3 – Oil Painting
In the final part of the course, you will work with oil paints, a classic and richly expressive medium. You will learn how to mix and control color, paint in layers, and create smooth transitions between tones. We will also cover materials, drying times, and proper care of your tools. By the end of the module, you will complete a personal painting that brings together everything you have learned while allowing you to explore your own artistic style.
