Art & Hobby Studio invites you to the WATERCOLOR PAINTING COURSE

Starting on July 17th, 2025, we are offering a course designed for anyone who wants to begin their journey into watercolor painting or deepen their existing knowledge, all in a warm, relaxing, and creative environment.

Course Schedule:

• Group 1: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

• Group 2: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  Duration: 4 sessions (1 session per week, every Thursday)
  Fee: 380 lei (includes all necessary materials)
  Minimum age: 14 years
  Location: Art & Hobby Studio, Strada Occidentului, no. 33, Sector 1, Bucharest (Piața Victoriei area)

What You Will Learn

This course is designed to offer a solid foundation in watercolor painting, combining theory with practical application and encouraging personal artistic expression.

1. Basic Watercolor Techniques
You will learn how to properly use brushes, control the flow of water, and create smooth color transitions. We will explore dilution, types of paper, and how these elements influence the final result.

2. Advanced Techniques
We will cover more complex methods such as glazing (transparent layers of color), building depth through layering, and creating special effects—splattering, lifting, granulation, and unusual textures.

3. Composition and Color Harmony
Participants will learn how to build a balanced composition, create focal points, and combine colors harmoniously using principles of color theory (contrast, analogy, complementarity, etc.).

4. Perspective and Proportion
Essential concepts will be introduced for accurately rendering perspective, spatial depth, and object proportions based on position, lighting, and distance. These skills are fundamental to producing coherent and expressive works of art.

Each session includes demonstrations by the instructor, guided practical exercises, and individual feedback for consistent improvement.
