Painting Course for Beginners – starting January 14, 2026, at Art & Hobby Studio
Have you always dreamed of painting but didn’t know where to start?
This course is the perfect place for you—whether it’s your first time holding a brush or you’re looking to clarify the basics and explore new techniques.
Over 12 sessions, in a warm and relaxed environment, you’ll gradually experiment with the most popular painting media: acrylics, watercolor & ink, and oil. Under the guidance of a patient and attentive instructor, you’ll learn how to turn your ideas into images and develop your own visual language.

Frequency: one session per week – every Wednesday
Total duration: 12 sessions

What You’ll Learn:
Module 1 – Acrylic Painting
We’ll begin with acrylics – an accessible and very versatile medium. You’ll learn to control color, work with brushes of various shapes, create balanced compositions, and add texture. Through hands-on exercises, you’ll complete a finished painting on canvas based on a theme that inspires you most.
This is an excellent introduction to painting, with visible progress from the very first sessions.
Module 2 – Watercolor and Ink
Next, we’ll move on to a delicate and expressive medium. You’ll discover how transparency works, how to create atmosphere and light using thin layers of color. We’ll also explore ink techniques, focusing on contrast and detail.
This module will train your patience, attention, and ability to suggest more with less. You’ll create works on various themes: landscapes, still life, and portraits.
Module 3 – Oil Painting
In the final part of the course, you’ll work with oils – a classic and profound technique. You’ll learn how to balance your use of color, work in layers, and create smooth transitions between shades. We’ll also discuss materials, drying times, and tool care.
At the end of this module, you’ll complete a personal painting that applies everything you’ve learned and reflects your unique style.
