Discover the world of art and portraiture at the MIXED ART COURSE WITH PORTRAIT THEME at Art & Hobby Studio, starting on April 18, 2024!

The course is an opportunity to develop your artistic talent in an inspired and creative environment. It offers you the possibility to explore portraiture using different techniques and artistic mediums, under our guidance.

Schedule:

Group 1: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Group 2: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Group 3: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Duration: 12 sessions

Structure: 3 MODULES, each composed of 4 SESSIONS (every Thursday)

We will explore portraiture in a unique way, with each module bringing new dimensions and depths to understanding this art form.

Module 1 – CHARCOAL Over four sessions, we will explore concepts of shading, construction, values, and, last but not least, we will study the proportions of the human face. We will learn working techniques in graphite and charcoal, using paper as support.

Module 2 – CHALK PASTEL We will review the concepts learned in Module 1 and complement them with information related to expressiveness and volume through color, using chalk pastel.

Module 3 – OIL In this module, we will learn to create an oil portrait on canvas, drawing inspiration from the works of Cezanne.

Throughout the 12 sessions, you will have the opportunity to work with materials such as graphite, charcoal, chalk pastel, and oil, exploring every detail of the portrait in a unique and personal way.

All materials necessary for the course are provided by the organizer, so you can unleash your imagination and develop your artistic skills without worries.

This course is intended for both beginners, who can confidently begin their artistic journey, and those who wish to enhance their already acquired knowledge in the field of art.
