Art & Hobby Studio invites you starting from January 11, 2025 to the KNITTING COURSE.
Schedule:16:00-17:30
Duration: 6 SESSIONS (every SATURDAY)
In the first two sessions, we will learn how to cast on stitches on needles, how to knit garter stitch (every row worked with stitches on the front), and stockinette stitch (one row with stitches on the front, the next with stitches on the back).
Additionally, we will use the acquired skills to knit a small-sized garment: fingerless gloves, beanie hat, baby vest, and house slippers. We will explore simple knitting patterns together and learn how to read them.
In the third and fourth sessions, we will learn how to increase and decrease stitches, and we will explore different methods of introducing a new yarn into our work.
In the final sessions, we will learn how to finish our work, hide the dangling threads, and sew knitted pieces together to complete our garments.
