Art & Hobby Studio invites you starting from May 29, 2024, to the Intensive Art Course – ON SITE.
This course covers the main techniques in the field of art and provides you with the preliminary knowledge needed to create your own works.
By going through them, you have the opportunity to experiment with basic techniques and then choose your preferred area to delve into.
The course is ideal for those who plan to attend an art high school/college, as well as those who want to pursue a new hobby that stimulates their creativity and artistic spirit.
Structure: 6 MODULES, each with 4 sessions
Frequency: 2 meetings per week – every Tuesday and Wednesday

Group 3: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Structure:
MODULE 1 – DRAWING – STILL LIFE – graphite, charcoal, pastel Starting from a still life, we will lay the foundations of drawing – composition, pagination, construction, valuation – using pencil, graphite, charcoal, and pastel on paper.
MODULE 2 – SCULPTURE – BAS-RELIEF AND VESSELS – clay We will learn to give shape and expressiveness to an inert but very obedient material – clay. The practical part will be combined with theoretical notions about form, volume, proportions, composition, texture, stylization, the relationship between light and shadow, and between solid and void.
MODULE 3 – DRAWING – PORTRAIT – graphite, charcoal, pastel We will learn pagination, construction, valuation, and last but not least, we will study the proportions of the human face. We will discover the working techniques in graphite, charcoal, and chalk pastel, using paper as support.
MODULE 4 – PAINTING – LANDSCAPE – watercolor and ink With the landscape as the theme, we will experiment with painting techniques in watercolor and ink. We will learn the differences between them and acquire knowledge of chromatology, composition, texture, and volume.
MODULE 5 – PAINTING – PORTRAIT – acrylic Over the course of 4 sessions, we will study the proportions of the human face, with the theme being self-portrait. We will delve into the secrets of painting in acrylic colors, using paper as support. For inspiration, we will trace the journey of the self-portrait in the history of art – from the Renaissance to the present day.
MODULE 6 – PAINTING – LANDSCAPE – oil With the landscape as the main theme, we will study the technique of oil painting with a palette knife. This technique, which is part of the impasto techniques family, involves applying color to canvas using a palette knife.
