Group 1: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Frequency: 1 session/week
Duration: 16 sessions
Structure: 4 MODULES, each consisting of 4 sessions (every Tuesday)
Description:
Would you like to explore the visual arts and develop your drawing skills? This course is specially designed to help you build a solid foundation, whether or not you have prior drawing experience. Under the careful guidance of our instructor, you will dive into the fascinating world of shadows, shapes, and perspective. The course is divided into 4 modules, each focusing on a different aspect of drawing.
Modules:
Module 1: Still Life
In the first 4 sessions, you will learn how to capture the beauty of static objects. You’ll develop an eye for lines, shapes, and proportions, becoming familiar with various shading techniques and how light affects objects. Through practical exercises and careful observation, you’ll create visual compositions.
Module 2: Perspective and Architecture
In the next 4 sessions, you will explore depth and perspective. You’ll learn how to bring realism to your drawings, focusing on landscapes and architectural elements. You will create depth and manipulate perspective to bring your artwork to life.
Module 3: Portrait
In sessions 9–12, you will delve into the world of portraiture. You’ll learn how to capture expressions and distinctive features, practicing portrait techniques using pencil and charcoal. You’ll develop the ability to portray emotions and personalities in compelling portraits.
Module 4: Body Fragments and Sketching
In the final 4 sessions, you will explore human anatomy through body fragments and quick sketches. You’ll learn to capture movement and the dynamics of the human body in various poses, encouraging spontaneity and sharpening quick observation skills.
All necessary materials for the course are provided by the organizer.
The course is open to both beginners and those looking to expand their existing knowledge.
