Schedule: 15:30- 17:30  (every Saturday)

Structure: 2 meetings (every Saturday)

The course is addressed to adults who want to give shape and expressiveness to an inert, but very obedient material – sandstone paste.

In the first stage we will give shape to our material by acquiring notions of construction, volume, symmetry, with the help of modeling. We approach a traditional technique – manual (we do not use the potter’s wheel) that has been used since ancient times and inspires us with the diverse range of objects we can create.

After the first session, the objects are taken to the hearth for ceramic burning, and in the second we will deal with the decoration. We will paint the objects made using high temperature ceramic oxides.

In the last stage we will finish the works using ceramic glazes.
