The Beginner’s Painting Course is specially designed for art enthusiasts eager to explore various painting techniques and artistic mediums. The course is divided into three distinct modules, each focusing on a specific painting medium: acrylic, watercolor and ink, and oil. Each module consists of 4 captivating sessions where participants will learn basic techniques, explore creativity, and develop their artistic skills.

Program: Module 1: Acrylic Painting

Duration: 4 sessions

Techniques covered:

• Introduction to acrylic medium: characteristics, advantages, and suitable supports.
• Color mixing techniques and brush usage in acrylic.
• Creating balanced compositions and understanding perspective in painting.
• Applying textures and layering techniques for visual depth.
• Creating a canvas painting based on a participant’s chosen model.

Module 2: Watercolor and Ink Techniques

Duration: 4 sessions

Techniques covered:

• Introduction to the world of watercolor and ink: transparency, fluidity, and expressiveness.
• Techniques for applying watercolors and ink to create atmosphere and details.
• Playing with light and shadows in watercolor and ink.
• Creating four artworks exploring themes such as landscapes, still life, and portraits using watercolors and ink.

Module 3: Oil Painting

Duration: 4 sessions

Techniques covered:

• Introduction to oil painting: consistency, layers, drying time, solvents, and material care.
• Color mixing techniques and applying subtle layers in oil.
• Creating an oil painting on canvas based on a participant’s chosen model.
• Developing a personal style and interpreting subjects in oil.

Each session will include:

• Presentation of key techniques and concepts for the respective painting medium.
• Practical demonstration of techniques by the instructor, with the opportunity for questions.
• Hands-on practice where participants will experiment with techniques in artistic projects.
• Feedback sessions and constructive discussions about the artwork created.

Instructions and necessary materials will be provided by the organizers. At the end of each module, participants will be encouraged to share and discuss their experiences, learn from each other’s approaches, and develop their skills in an inspiring environment.
