The Painting Course for Beginners is specially designed for those passionate about art and eager to explore different artistic techniques and mediums. The course is divided into three distinct modules, each focusing on a specific painting medium: acrylic, watercolor & ink, and oil. Each module includes 4 engaging sessions where participants will learn basic techniques, unleash their creativity, and develop their artistic skills.

Curriculum:

Module 1: Acrylic Painting
Duration: 4 sessions
Techniques covered:

• Introduction to the acrylic medium: characteristics, advantages, and suitable surfaces.

• Color mixing techniques and brush handling in acrylic painting.

• Creating balanced compositions and understanding perspective in painting.

• Applying textures and layering techniques for visual depth.

• Creating a painting on canvas based on a model chosen by the participant.

Module 2: Watercolor and Ink Techniques
Duration: 4 sessions
Techniques covered:

• Introduction to watercolor and ink: transparency, fluidity, and expressiveness.

• Techniques for applying watercolor and ink to create atmosphere and detail.

• Playing with light and shadow in watercolor and ink.

• Creating four artworks exploring themes such as landscapes, still life, and portraits using watercolor and ink.

Module 3: Oil Painting
Duration: 4 sessions
Techniques covered:

• Introduction to oil painting: consistency, layering, drying time, solvents, and care for materials.

• Techniques for mixing colors and applying subtle layers in oil.

• Creating an oil painting on canvas based on a model chosen by the participant.

• Developing a personal style and interpreting subjects in oil.

Each session will include:

• Presentation of key techniques and concepts specific to the medium.

• Live demonstrations by the instructor, with time for questions.

• Hands-on sessions where participants will apply the techniques in their own projects.

• Feedback and constructive discussion on the artworks created.

All necessary materials and instructions will be provided by the organizers. At the end of each module, participants will be encouraged to share and reflect on their experiences, learn from one another, and further develop their skills in an inspiring environment.
