Description:
Would you like to explore the visual arts and develop your drawing skills? This course is designed to strengthen your foundation, whether or not you have previous drawing experience. Under the attentive guidance of our instructor, you will delve into the fascinating world of shading, forms, and perspectives. The course is structured into 4 modules, each focusing on a different aspect of drawing.
Modules:
Module 1: Still Life
In the first 4 sessions, you’ll learn to capture the beauty of static objects. You’ll develop attention to lines, shapes, and proportions, get familiar with various shading techniques, and understand how light affects objects. Through practical exercises and close observation, you’ll create visual compositions.
Module 2: Perspective and Architecture
In the following 4 sessions, you’ll explore depth and perspective. You’ll learn to bring realism to your drawings, focusing on landscapes and architectural elements. You’ll create depth and manipulate perspectives to bring your drawings to life.
Module 3: Portraiture
During sessions 9-12, you’ll enter the world of portrait drawing. You’ll learn to capture expressions and distinctive features, practicing portrait techniques with pencil and charcoal. You’ll develop skills to convey emotions and personalities in captivating portraits.
Module 4: Body Parts and Sketching
In the final 4 sessions, you’ll explore human body details through fragments and quick sketches. You’ll learn to capture movement and the dynamics of the human body in various poses, encouraging spontaneity and developing rapid observation skills.
All materials needed for the course will be provided by the organizer.
This course is open to both beginners and those looking to expand on existing knowledge.
