Group 1: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Frequency: 1 session/week

Duration: 16 sessions

Structure: 4 MODULES each consisting of 4 SESSIONS (every Tuesday)

Description:

Do you wish to explore the secrets of visual art and develop your drawing skills? This course is specially crafted to build your foundations, whether you have prior experience in drawing or not. You’ll venture into the captivating world of shadows, forms, and perspectives, guided closely by our skilled instructor. The course is divided into 4 modules, each focusing on a different aspect of drawing.

Modules:

Module 1: Exploring Still Life In the first 4 sessions, you’ll learn to capture the beauty of static objects. You’ll develop sensitivity to lines, shapes, and proportions. You’ll familiarize yourself with various shading techniques and how light affects objects. Through practical exercises and careful observation, you’ll create captivating visual compositions.

Module 2: Perspective and Architecture In the next 4 sessions, you’ll delve into the exploration of depth and perspectives. You’ll understand how to bring depth and realism to your drawings, focusing on landscapes and architectural elements. You’ll learn to create depth and manipulate perspectives to breathe life into your drawings.

Module 3: Detailed Portraiture In sessions 9-12, you’ll enter the world of portraiture. You’ll learn to capture expressions and distinctive features. You’ll practice portrait techniques using pencils and charcoal. You’ll develop skills to capture emotions and personality in vivid and captivating portraits.

Module 4: Body Fragments and Sketching In the final 4 sessions, you’ll explore human body details through quick fragments and sketches. You’ll learn how to capture movement and dynamics of the human body in various positions. These sessions will encourage spontaneity and enhance your quick observation skills.

All necessary course materials are provided by the organizer. The course is open to both beginners and individuals seeking to enhance their existing knowledge.
