Beginner Painting Course – starting March 29, 2026, at Art & Hobby Studio

Have you always dreamed of painting but didn’t know where to start? This course is the perfect place for you, whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or you’d like to clarify the basics and explore new techniques.

Over the course of 12 sessions, in a warm and relaxed environment, you will gradually experiment with the most popular painting mediums: acrylic, watercolor & ink, and oil. Guided by a patient and attentive instructor, you will learn how to turn your ideas into images and develop your own visual language.

Course Schedule:

• Frequency: one session per week – every Sunday

What You Will Learn:

Module 1 – Acrylic Painting

We begin with acrylics – an accessible and highly versatile medium. You will learn how to control color, work with brushes of different shapes, create balanced compositions, and add texture. Through practical exercises, you will complete a full canvas painting, choosing a theme that inspires you most. It’s an excellent introduction to painting, with visible results from the very first sessions.

Module 2 – Watercolor & Ink

Next, we move to a delicate and expressive medium. You will discover how transparencies work, how to create atmosphere and light using fine layers of color, and how to work with ink techniques, focusing on contrast and detail. This module will train your patience, attention to detail, and ability to suggest more with simple means. You will create works on varied themes: landscapes, still life, and portrait.

Module 3 – Oil Painting

In the final part of the course, you will work with oils, a classic and rich technique. You will learn how to handle color, work in layers, and create smooth transitions between shades. We will discuss materials, drying time, and proper tool care. At the end of this module, you will create a personal painting that brings together everything you’ve learned and allows you to explore your own style.
