Beginner Painting Course – starting May 7, 2026, at Art & Hobby Studio

Have you always dreamed of painting but didn’t know where to start? This course is the perfect place for you, whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or looking to clarify the basics and explore new techniques.

Over 12 sessions, in a warm and relaxed environment, you will step by step experiment with the most popular painting mediums: acrylic, watercolor & ink, and oil. Guided by a вним attentiv and patient instructor, you’ll learn how to turn your ideas into images and develop your own visual language.

Course schedule:

• Frequency: one session per week – every Thursday

• Total duration: 12 sessions

What you will learn:

Module 1 – Acrylic Painting
We start with acrylics – an accessible and highly versatile medium. You’ll learn how to control color, work with brushes of different shapes, create balanced compositions, and add texture. Through practical exercises, you will complete a full painting on canvas, choosing a theme that inspires you. It’s an excellent introduction to painting, with visible results from the very first sessions.

Module 2 – Watercolor and Ink
Next, we move to a delicate and expressive medium. You’ll discover how transparency works, how to create atmosphere and light using fine layers of color. We will also explore ink techniques, focusing on contrast and detail. This module will train your patience, attention, and ability to suggest a lot with simple means. You’ll create works with varied themes: landscapes, still life, and portrait.

Module 3 – Oil Painting
In the final part of the course, you’ll work with oils, a classic and profound technique. You’ll learn how to handle color, work in layers, and create smooth transitions between tones. We’ll discuss materials, drying time, and tool care. By the end of this module, you will complete a personal painting that brings together everything you’ve learned and reflects your own style.
