The Beginner Painting Course is specially designed for art enthusiasts eager to explore various artistic techniques and mediums. The course is structured into three distinct modules, each focused on a specific painting medium: acrylic, watercolor & ink, and oil. Each module includes 4 engaging sessions where participants will learn fundamental techniques, explore their creativity, and develop their artistic skills.
Curriculum:

Module 1: Acrylic Painting

Duration: 4 sessions
Techniques covered:
Introduction to acrylics: characteristics, advantages, and suitable surfaces.
Color mixing techniques and proper use of brushes with acrylics.
Creating balanced compositions and understanding perspective in painting.
Applying textures and layering techniques for visual depth.
Creating a canvas painting based on a reference chosen by the participant.

Module 2: Watercolor and Ink Techniques

Duration: 4 sessions
Techniques covered:
Introduction to the world of watercolor and ink: transparency, fluidity, and expressiveness.
Application techniques for creating atmosphere and detail with watercolor and ink.
Playing with light and shadow in watercolor and ink.
Creating four artworks with themes such as landscapes, still life, and portraits using watercolor and ink.

Module 3: Oil Painting

Duration: 4 sessions
Techniques covered:
Introduction to oil painting: consistency, layering, drying time, solvents, and care of materials.
Color mixing and subtle layering techniques in oil painting.
Creating an oil painting on canvas based on a model chosen by the student.
Developing a personal style and interpreting subjects in oil.

Each session includes:

Introduction to techniques and key concepts for the specific painting medium.
Live demonstrations by the instructor with opportunities for questions.
Hands-on sessions where participants will experiment with techniques in guided projects.
Feedback and constructive discussions on the artworks created.

All necessary instructions and materials will be provided by the organizers. At the end of each module, participants will be encouraged to share and discuss their experiences, learn from each other’s approaches, and grow their skills in an inspiring environment.
