Oil Painting Course – Technique, Expressiveness & Relaxation

Saturday mornings can be more than just the beginning of a weekend – they can become a moment dedicated to yourself, a time to slow down, disconnect from the week’s hustle, and reconnect with your inner self through color and tranquility.

We invite you to an oil painting course designed as a complete experience – not only technical, but also emotional. It is a warm and friendly space, where learning naturally blends with relaxation, and artistic expression transforms into a form of release and joy.

Duration: four weeks
Frequency: one session per week, every Saturday
Schedule: 10:00 – 11:30
Address: Art & Hobby Studio – 33 Occidentului St., Sector 1, Bucharest

We work in small groups (4–10 participants), so each student benefits from personal attention and guidance.
The course fee is 380 lei, and all materials are included.

What we will do together

Over the four sessions, you will learn the basics of oil painting in a clear, accessible, and practical way. We will cover:
– how oil colors work and how to paint in layers
– what proper dilution means, how to manage drying times, and what materials to use
– how to build a harmonious composition with depth and visual balance
– how to shape light and shadow to create convincing, expressive forms
– how to finish and protect an oil painting

Each participant will create, step by step, a personal artwork, guided with patience and supported throughout their creative process.

Above all, this course is an invitation to presence.
Oil painting requires a different rhythm – calm, slow, almost meditative. Every gesture, every nuance, every layer of paint brings you closer to an inner space where you are free to express, to feel, to create.
