Group 1: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Duration: 12 sessions
Structure: 3 MODULES, each consisting of 4 SESSIONS (held every Wednesday)

The Beginner Painting Course is specially designed for art enthusiasts eager to explore various techniques and artistic media. The course is divided into three distinct modules, each focusing on a specific painting medium: acrylic, watercolor & ink, and oil. Each module consists of 4 engaging sessions where participants will learn basic techniques, explore their creativity, and develop their artistic skills.

Curriculum:

Module 1: Acrylic Painting

Duration: 4 sessions
Techniques covered:

• Introduction to acrylics: characteristics, advantages, and suitable surfaces

• Color mixing techniques and brushwork in acrylic

• Creating balanced compositions and understanding perspective in painting

• Applying textures and layering techniques for visual depth

• Completing a canvas painting based on a model chosen by the participant

Module 2: Watercolor and Ink Techniques

Duration: 4 sessions
Techniques covered:

• Introduction to the world of watercolor and ink: transparency, fluidity, and expressiveness

• Techniques for applying watercolor and ink to create atmosphere and detail

• Light and shadow play in watercolor and ink

• Creating four artworks exploring themes such as landscapes, still life, and portraits using watercolor and ink

Module 3: Oil Painting

Duration: 4 sessions
Techniques covered:

• Introduction to oil painting: consistency, layering, drying time, solvents, and material care

• Color mixing and applying subtle layers in oil

• Completing an oil painting on canvas based on a model chosen by the participant

• Developing a personal style and interpreting subjects in oil painting

Each session will include:

• Presentation of key techniques and concepts specific to the painting medium

• Practical demonstration by the instructor, with time for questions

• Hands-on sessions where participants apply techniques in their own artistic projects

• Feedback and constructive discussions on completed works

All instructions and materials will be provided by the organizers. At the end of each module, participants will be encouraged to share and discuss their experiences, learn from one another’s approaches, and grow their skills in an inspiring environment.
